Please! Help Me Find My Brains!!!

Got a call from a soon to be married, Jelly one day, which is actually a surprise. because it’s been oh so long since we met, he seemed to be very busy nowadays and asking him to come out for a photo outing seems a bit hard to do so. anyway, he called me because he’s invited me to go for a 4X4 ride to some hill/ mountain at Raub. which i agreed straight away once he said it was for free.

i tried getting a few shots of this car in action, but before we could do any cool shots out from it, the car broke one of its stabiliser thingy. all i could say is, this car is super powerful. too bad i can’t catch pics of it doing some water splashing action.

we’re lucky that the car broke down very near where we intended to go, so it was a few minutes hike. it was also actually a blessing in disguise as we could actually take our time to shoot whatever we see along the way.

after that, it was pretty much time for us to get back down. the car limped slowly back down

oh well, not really. I have been really busy since i have joined this new company. and oh, here’s a few quick brief through on what has happened after so long.

1. i got married
2. got a D300
3. sold of my Satria GTi
4. got myself a Nissan Latio
5. got myself an FM2n
6. lost alot of hair
7. gained alot more weight
8. bought a Wii
9. sucked at photography
10. went to Australia

1. Yes, i am married, the preparation was crazy. but am glad i got through the infamous Ji Mui games. i was worried that i might lose my temper and everyone would be hurt. that was my main worry anyway. the rest, went through like a dream.

yes, damn gay.

Thanks to all my heng tais, though a bit late, but you guys made the ultimate sacrifice to kiss my ugly butt face.

2. My wife said my D50 looks a bit used. and she was quite impressed by the D300 which kkho brought along for a shootout event at cameron. so there, i got it. damn macho. and i liked it. it has all the shortcuts you need. picture quality wise, it looks kinda normal to me. i don’t do pixel peeping. all i do is set to sunny WB and super saturate it to the max.

3. Ol’ Faithful ain’t looking too good lately. it has not been the same ever since it got hit by that bastard drunkard. it has been sipping alot on lubes. i threw in the towel when my air cond blew itself up. figured that it’s time to let her go. i am going to miss that spectacular handling.

4. Tan Chong you gotta hand it to them, they take in 2nd hand cars at a very high value. i chose the butt ugly nissan latio sedan. 1.8L of course. it has the slight advantage like auto lights and keyless entry. but why it has the weird armrest which stands in the way of your handbrake. oh, it handles like a box on stilts.

5. i am a bit of a nikon fan. and the FM2n is legendary. ‘nuff said.

6. well, my hair has run to my armpits.

7. sitting in the office ain’t helping. but then no one else is running out the reports and stats. i do try to walk around a bit more.

8. ah yes, the Nintendo Wii… it’s a blast! you can’t get more interactive with this. PS3? pah!

9. so long din shoot photos jor… take a wild guess what my photography skills have become. bloody mediocre!

10. went to australia, for honeymoon. in short, bloody expensive. it’s like in Singapore, only much much expensive. thanks to our super Malaysian Ringgit. it’s nice there, only thing is i got a saman over there. for speeding to make it in time for green light. sigh.

Anyway, with my project here running to near end, it is natural that i will start to be free again… i hope i will have more time to post more rubbish up.
