Well, after a full day of shooting a wedding, and i found out that my skills are seriously lagging. what did i do? i went on a shooting spree of course!

Well, well, obviously, it has been since along time that i have posted anything here. seriously, i wonder if you guys even miss me. haha. but i do hope you want more of my photos, but then again, i am sorry to tell you that, lately, my photos ain't so hot to look at anyway. i was kinda extremely busy for the past few weeks and by god, the amount of meetings i had to go through. but like all good things or bad things, it has to come to an end. finally i have a weekend which i can shoot all i want. and what a way to start it by covering a wedding event. uh-oh, big mistake there boy! the feeling was a bit like an ex athlete who has grown fat and then forced himself onto a marathon. yes, exactly what i felt. you see, photographers, cameraman (whatever) are supposed to have this 3rd eye, to see things differently, and then make the most dullest of stuff in the world intersting. well, my eye, has been glued shut with the crud from a deep sleep. it took me helluva hard time to open up, in fact, i suspect that it was never opened. i shot a few shots ok, it was passable, but not really awe inspiring and make you drop your pants and pee. it was dull, boring and downright embarrasing. i felt kinda bad, when i looked at it as this, might be an assignment for me, but hell, it's a weeding to them. this is a one time ceremony, and it was all down to me to fuck it right up. i'd love to share a few pics of the wedding. but i have yet to get the consent of my clients yet. but of all surprises, the newlyweds sent me a sms which gave me further encouragement. they loved it. *phew! it was all i needed. but they only sent it to me on Sunday. which i felt like hell after the dinner on saturday night. which led me to plan for an outing to shoot more and get those bloody cobwebs outta my head. so what i did was go to the bird park and the butterfly park. imagine this, like a drunk fighter who has gone onto alot of rounds of fighting don't really know what he is fighting against. as for he is drunk and just punches whatever which gets in his way. i shot and shot and shot. i was dead tired, fromthe wedding, the bird park and from the butterfly park. my hands trembled, my pictures blurred. i sucked. but i kept shooting. and that's what i am going to do.

you might expect alot of pics from me. but here's a preview instead. as i am too sleepy and tired to do editting. BUT here's what i found out.

1. i did too much macro, which leads to forgetting about composition and creativity
2. i gotta learn more on how to pose couples
3. improve some more on my people skills to make them more comfortable with me around
4. DON'T EVER LEAVE PHOTOGRAPHY ALONE FOR TOO LONG!!!

This shot, is taken from a pheasant when it was too farking pissed when me and my friend bombarded it with flash... it literally opened up it's feathers to show aggreassion. interesting pattern if i must say...

till then, gimme a few days to recuperate ok?

Just when i thought i would be free this weekend, and then we're required to see a client on a sunday. sheesh! i really need a break. all these endless meetings are sending my photos to hell
